# Set up a Wallet

Select a Wallet, add Networks & more

To interact with the UniverseSwap DEX, you need a Web3 wallet. Learn which wallets are supported by UniverseSwap and how to set them up.

### 1. Download one of the wallets supported by UniverseSwap

### 2. Install Wallet & create a new account or import an existing one

#### All Wallets require that you store your [Secret Recovery Phrase](https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360060826432-What-is-a-Secret-Recovery-Phrase-and-how-to-keep-your-crypto-wallet-secure) in a safe place. It is the ONLY way to recover your funds should your device crash or your browser reset. It is recommended that you write it down. The most common method is to write your 12-24-word phrase on a piece of paper and store it safely in a place where only you have access. 

#### Note: If you lose your Secret Recovery Phrase, NO one can help you recover your wallet. Never give your Secret Recovery Phrase or your private key(s) to anyone or any site, unless you want them to have full control over your funds.

### 3. Add a Network

The easiest way to add a Network to your web3 wallet is by clicking on the network indicator on the UniverseSwap dApp website top menu, in this case, by clicking on "**Arbitrum Nova**" you open up a pop-up which shows all supported networks. By selecting a chain, it will automatically be added to your web3 wallet after you've confirmed it.

### 4. Additional Chains

If you look for additional chains, you can do so connecting your wallet with <https://chainlist.org/>. Search for the Network and click "**Add to MetaMask**". The Network will be auto added to your Wallet after you confirmed it. To add Testnets, simply toggle the switch "**Testnets**".

### 5. Add a Network manually (supported by UniverseSwap)

In MetaMask, click on Ethereum Mainnet → Add network → Add a network manually → ... → Save
